He is known for breaking up a mountain using only a chisel and hammer, to make a road connecting his village to the nearest town. Myth has it that he did this because his wife had demanded before she died that he should do something that would be a true example of his love for her. That despite being ridiculed by the people of the village, who saw what he was doing as insane, he continued with what he believed to be right, and created this road which opened up so many opportunities to the villagers of his village.
